Overheard at a train station.
Girl A: Wow hey, I haven't seen you for a long time!
Translates to: It's been awhile. Glad to know your life has been keeping you too busy to meet up with your friends and other close one's in your life. When was the last time you called your mother? (Note: An aptly added 'Bitch' after the last question would've served well in accentuating the implied sarcasm of the sentences but was removed for purity's sake)
Girl B: Yeah hey, are you on a diet?!
Translates to: You're fat.
Girl A: Yeah! How did you know?
Translates to: Doesn't translate to anything. Girl A is clearly an idiot.
Girl B: Well, you look great.
Translates to: For now but back then, you looked bad.

does anyone actually find singaporean girls attractive anymore? no offence, but they project a very materialistic aura about themselves... pressure frm da society i guess... -_-"
For me, "Wow hey, I haven't seen you for a long time!" kind of translates to "Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Of all the days I have to meet you today. Why the fuck didn't I at least put on eyeliner before I left the house?"
usually one can detect this immeadiately frm da hesitation in a woman's voice...
